ImageFast have recently hosted two seminars on using SharePoint 2010 as a Document Management system, giving delegates an insight into how they can leverage SharePoint across their organisation.
Throughout the morning ImageFast demonstrated the concept of using SharePoint 2010 for document management, not just with SharePoint's capabilities, but also how to integrate this with the automated capture and storage of paper documents and then feed those straight into electronic workflow processes - for true document management.
Both seminars were oversubscribed, and were well received by the audience. Hot topics emerging from the question and answer sessions included data migration to SharePoint 2010 and a deeper dive into the Records Management capabilities.
