Challenge
Talbot Underwriting's legacy workflow system was performing poorly. It wasn't delivering the business or cost efficiencies the underwriting team needed, and it wasn't flexible enough to adapt when the business changed. With regulatory demands growing and policy volumes increasing, the existing solution was holding the business back.
Solution
Imagefast designed and built a powerful, flexible, web-based workflow on K2 process management software — structured around one case per policy, MTA, or pre-bind. A rules engine drives dynamic workflows, a configurable dashboard gives each user a real-time view of their tasks and SLA time, and document management integration surfaces all slips and documents through a single case form.
Outcome
Response times were greatly improved, compliance was strengthened through full audit trails and built-in peer review, and the business gained the flexibility to accommodate new offices, document types, and business rules without costly redevelopment or impact to live users.
Lockton
Challenge
Lockton International's Claims team was manually processing around 20,000 CLASS messages per year across three separate applications, while the Financial Crime team was completing approximately 18,000 manual sanctions screening checks per year via LexisNexis — both processes were costly, inefficient, and prone to human error.
Solution
Imagefast implemented Kofax RPA to automate both workflows. The Claims solution monitors CLASS and automatically creates and assigns tasks to handlers, while the sanctions screening solution monitors business applications and runs automated checks in LexisNexis — with exceptions escalated to the Financial Crime team within 24 hours.
Outcome
Significant administrative overhead was removed from both teams, freeing capacity for client-facing work. Automated sanctions screening reduced compliance risk, every check is now recorded and tracked, and the solution is scalable to extend automation beyond the UK and Ireland.
